We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Assistant Company Secretary to join our Company Secretariat team on a permanent basis, based in our London office (hybrid working model).

As the Senior Assistant Company Secretary, you will support the Group Company Secretary within the Company Secretariat Team, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and advising on governance frameworks.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a Company Secretarial team, preferably with a part or full CGI qualification. Experience in attending board and committee meetings and preparing accurate minutes is essential. A good understanding of UK corporate governance standards, such as the UK Corporate Governance Code and Wates Principles, is required.
Previous line management experience and a commitment to mentoring and developing team members are important. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with high-profile stakeholders and be proactive in introducing improvements and fostering a culture of continuous development.
