Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Assistant Company Secretary to join Shell in London. The ideal candidate will have strong PLC experience, extensive knowledge of company secretarial functions within a listed environment, and a solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Deputy Company Secretary in managing corporate matters related to Shell plc.
  • Provide company secretarial services, including statutory compliance, shareholder and board actions, and corporate projects.
  • Advise on governance and company secretarial issues, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Manage relationships with registrars and ensure quality shareholder services.
  • Contribute to the Governance section of annual reports and shareholder documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Significant experience with CGI qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact with senior stakeholders with maturity and gravitas.
  • Problem-solving skills and learning agility.
  • Proficiency in GEMS, Diligent, Microsoft Office, Docusign, or similar systems.
Additional Requirements:

Must have rights to work in the UK and be able to work in the London office.
