  • Oversee risk frameworks covering health & safety, cyber security, and compliance.
  • Drive service provider performance and reshape scopes where support levels need to evolve.

Commercial & Strategic Insight

  • Review business plans and market dynamics to guide asset-level management teams.
  • Monitor competitor activity and sector trends to inform commercial decisions.
  • Promote consistency across energy subsectors in cost structures, service agreements, and value assumptions.
  • Work on strategies for value enhancement, including refinancing, co-investment, repowering, or exit.

Technical Oversight

  • Collaborate with internal and external experts to identify and mitigate key technical risks.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and key drivers of asset performance.
  • Secure and manage appropriate technical resources as needed.
  • Evaluate key value drivers, support financial case bridging and scenario planning.
  • Deliver asset optimisation projects aligned with fund return objectives.
  • Support sector heads with financial analysis to guide decision-making.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Partner with teams across investment, fundraising, and investor relations.
  • Share insights and experience to contribute to new investments and wider fund strategy.
  • Keep abreast of relevant UK and EU regulatory developments (e.g. UK-ETS, REMA, hybridisation/grid pooling) and help shape strategic responses.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in asset management within energy transition, renewables, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and technical skills with hands-on governance experience.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments including service providers, JV partners, and regulators.
  • Comfortable engaging at board level and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the UK regulatory landscape and drivers of energy asset value.

Why Apply?

  • Lead high-impact asset management initiatives in the fast-evolving energy transition sector.
  • Join a forward-thinking, well-capitalised infrastructure investor.
