Job Description:

We are partnered with a leading organisation looking for an experienced property Asset Management Lawyer (8+ PQE) to join their specialist Managed Legal Services team.

? If I were an 8+ PQE lawyer exploring my next move, I’d want an opportunity with real growth potential. That’s exactly what this role offers. You’ll be joining the fast-growing managed legal services arm of an international law firm – an area of the legal market that is rapidly expanding and reshaping how clients access high-quality legal advice.

This position not only gives you the chance to take ownership of an existing client base, but also the freedom to bring in new clients and, over the longer term, build and lead your own team within the practice. With managed legal services becoming an increasingly dominant part of the legal landscape, this is an excellent time to establish yourself in a team that is scaling at pace.

The role:

  • Lead on complex asset management matters (leases, licences, variations, surrenders, extensions, consents etc.)
  • Advise on risk and compliance issues affecting large property portfolios
  • Build strong client relationships, ensuring commercial and legal alignment
  • Supervise, mentor and develop a team of legal professionals
  • Work with colleagues across Property and Managed Legal Services to deliver outstanding client service

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer, 8+ years’ PQE in English Law
  • Strong background in asset management (commercial acquisitions/plot sales desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting and communication skills
  • Experience working with complex portfolios or large client accounts
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using legal technology for efficiency and reporting

? Based in Birmingham or Leeds. Hybrid working available (3 days in office.)
