Job summary

Mills & Reeve LLP is seeking a Senior Associate to strengthen our national Banking & Finance team with a focus on Asset Based Lending. You will handle a diverse mix of domestic and international finance deals, collaborating with partners across multiple offices and contributing to market-leading work.

The role requires 4+ PQE in banking & finance with ABL exposure, strong drafting skills, and a pro-active, client-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 4+ PQE with asset-based lending exposure.
• Commercially astute banking & finance solicitor.
• Strong drafting ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent client relationship and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise banks, lenders, fund managers and corporates on finance and security matters.
• Work across asset-based lending, leveraged finance, corporate lending with exposure to real estate finance and capital markets.
• Support corporate transactions including M&A and funding structures.
• Draft and negotiate key finance documentation.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships and contribute to business development.
