University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an ambitious, motivated person to join the aseptic training team within the pharmacy department at Royal Derby Hospital. The role focuses on training pharmacy staff in aseptic practices used for injectable medicines and chemotherapy.

You will support development and delivery of aseptic training, standardise practice, and assist with recruitment and risk assessments. Weekend and out-of-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Aseptic training/experience essential for working in aseptic units.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of the aseptic training programme.
• Assist the Deputy Production Manager and Accountable Pharmacist with materials.
• Coordinate training to ensure competency across staff groups.
