Gravesham Borough Council is seeking an experienced Building Safety & Compliance Officer to lead asbestos management across its housing stock. The role covers surveys, remedial works, and contractor performance, ensuring compliance records are accurate and up to date.

You will provide specialist advice to keep residents, staff and contractors safe. You will oversee the Asbestos Management Plan, maintain the asbestos register, and coordinate with residents and project teams to communicate risks

Competenze

• Detailed working knowledge of asbestos management in buildings.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and construction industry relating to social housing.
• Familiarity with Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
• Desirable knowledge of Building Safety Act 2022 and CDM Regulations 2015.
