Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated ASB and Domestic Abuse Caseworker to lead prevention and intervention efforts within our Housing Tenancy Management Team. The role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure community safety by addressing reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and domestic abuse.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting victims of domestic abuse within HRA and general needs stock by conducting risk assessments, making referrals, and developing tailored safety plans.
  2. Attending meetings with stakeholders to identify solutions for ASB cases.
  3. Providing a resident-focused response to ASB complaints and breaches of tenancy agreements.
  4. Creating and managing action plans to resolve ASB cases effectively.
  5. Utilising legislation and best practices to take preventative and legal actions, including mediation.
  6. Conducting interviews with complainants, witnesses, and alleged perpetrators.
  7. Preparing and serving legal notices and representing the organization in court as needed.
  8. Ensuring positive communication with victims, their families, and perpetrators, maintaining respectful relationships.
  9. Producing concise, evidence-based reports.
  10. Handling child and adult safeguarding matters promptly and effectively.
  11. Managing complex cases involving vulnerable individuals and high-risk perpetrators.

Requirements:
