To lead on prevention and intervention to help residents sustain their tenancies. The team is based within the Housing Tenancy Management Team and works with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to the Council's vision of keeping communities safe. Responsibilities include intervening and resolving reports of ASB and Domestic Abuse, making referrals/signposting, supporting vulnerable residents, and developing partnerships to assess and manage risk. Duties include addressing reports of ASB and Domestic Abuse, supporting victims, attending meetings, delivering resident-focused responses, creating action plans, utilizing legislation, conducting interviews, serving legal notices, and representing the organization in court as needed. The role also involves ensuring positive customer experiences, effective communication, building rapport with victims and perpetrators, providing detailed reports, and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed. Managing complex case work related to vulnerable individuals involved in anti-social behavior and abuse is also essential.
Key skills and requirements include: a full driving license and vehicle, experience managing tenancy-related breaches in the public sector.
