Job summary

Monks is a global, digital-first brand under S4Capital plc seeking a senior art director to drive visual concepts and creative direction across campaigns. You will collaborate with copywriters, strategists, and teams to develop integrated ideas and present them with compelling moodboards and storyboards.

You will lead visual execution across digital formats, explore AI-powered tools, and uphold typography and branding excellence. Fluency in Spanish and English is a plus for global campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in art direction or senior design roles within advertising or digital agencies.
• Strong conceptual thinking, with proven experience developing original visual ideas and campaign concepts.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with Figma.
• Strong knowledge of AI-powered creative tools, including image generation, visual experimentation, and AI-assisted production workflows.
• Understanding of emerging technologies and their broader creative applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating art direction, conceptual development, visual storytelling, and digital executions.
• Experience creating social-first content and adapting creative work across platforms and formats.
• Excellent visual communication, presentation, and collaborative skills.
• proficiency in Spanish and English, with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop original visual concepts, creative territories, and art direction proposals aligned with strategic briefs and brand objectives.
• Partner with Copywriters, Strategists, and creative teams to build integrated creative ideas from concept through execution.
• Create moodboards, mockups, storyboards, and visual presentations to communicate creative proposals.
• Lead visual execution across digital campaigns, social content, and multiple formats, ensuring consistency and creative excellence.
• Explore AI-powered creative tools and emerging technologies to enhance ideation, visual experimentation, and production workflows.
• Apply visual storytelling principles to translate complex ideas into engaging and accessible creative executions.
• Present and defend creative concepts, clearly articulating the rationale behind visual decisions.
• Maintain high standards of typography, composition, branding, and overall design quality.
