Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions, a global leader in leader in industrial coating systems, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Area Sales Manager to join our team in the area Birmingham-Manchester-Liverpool , United Kingdom. Summary of the role

Senior Account/Area Manager for Industrial Powder Coating Systems is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and acquiring new business, managing client relationships, and preparing commercial offers to customer requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement targeted strategies to grow our customer base within assigned territory
  • Utilizing the deep understanding of the powder coating process and Nordson product line, serve as a technical advisor to clients, educating them on benefits of Nordson solutions and best application techniques for powder coating applications.
  • Partner closely with engineering, product development, and customer service teams to ensure high level of client satisfaction and positive references
  • Propose technical solutions to fully meet the customers’ needs and specifications

Skills and Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in capital equipment, preferably within the powder coating, industrial finishing, or related equipment sectors.
  • Professional English level
  • Strong ability to understand and convey technical concepts, specifically in electrical and pneumatic systems related to powder coating processes and equipment. Proficiency in explaining these concepts to clients is essential.

Travel

  • 50% + Travelling within UK and Ireland with two nights per week overnight stays. Occasional business trips to the continent.
