Interaction Recruitment PLC is seeking a Senior Area Sales Manager to drive growth in a UK territory focused on materials handling equipment and forklift trucks. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to demonstrations, negotiations and closing deals, leveraging an established client base while actively acquiring new business.

You will need a proven track record in MHE or forklift sales, strong leadership in developing profitable relationships, and excellent negotiation,

Qualifications

• Five years continuous sales experience in MHE or forklift truck industry.
• Proven track record of selling forklift trucks and materials handling equipment.
• Strong new business development and lead-generation skills.
• Demonstrable success in winning new accounts and developing profitable customer relationships.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
• Ability to build relationships with customers at all levels.
• Strong commercial awareness and territory planning.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, email and CRM.
• Proactive, driven approach with determination to achieve targets.

Responsabilités

• Proactively identify, target and secure new business opportunities within the territory.
• Develop and grow relationships with existing customers and upsell/cross-sell.
• Promote and sold forklift trucks and materials handling equipment.
• Arrange and conduct customer meetings, presentations and equipment demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate terms and close sales.
• Research market trends and competitor activity.
• Take consultative approach to customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Plan and manage territory to maximise opportunities.
• Maintain sales activity and CRM data.
• Review sales data and CRM reports to drive performance.
