An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Architectural Technologist to become part of our expanding Architectural team in our Birmingham office.

You will be required to realize preliminary designs into a buildable solution involving all aspects of Architectural delivery and coordinating detailed information across all disciplines and providing a first point of contact to the site delivery team. There will also be a requirement to address package procurement and programming in accordance with design deliverables, responding to technical queries, reviewing sub‑contractor information, attending and leading Design Team and Coordination Meetings, supporting the Contractor during the build and liaising with management on a monthly basis to report on the status of the project.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide technical design support to project teams and deliver successful projects in accordance with client requirements.
• Act as a team leader, working flexibly and independently to support the project leader while efficiently managing your own time.
• Manage and supervise technical project teams, together with client and contractor liaison.
• Organise and co‑ordinate Design Teams and sub‑contractors.
• Undertake day‑to‑day delivery tasks at all stages, including production of design deliverables, providing accurate technical information, addressing technical queries, conducting site inspections and condition surveys, monitoring delivery, and identifying proposed design changes that could impact fees, change controls or programme slippage.

What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate

• HNC/HND in Architecture/Building Construction or BSc in Architectural Technology or other recognized approved equivalents.
• Eligible member of an appropriate professional institution (MCIAT or recognised approved equivalent).
• Understanding of Building Regulations and relevant technical design guidance.
• Proficiency in REVIT and Navisworks to achieve project delivery to Level 2 BIM (Building Information Modelling).
• Ability to obtain a UK vetting level of Security Check (SC).
