Job summary

Konker Group in central London is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to drive technical design and delivery from RIBA Stage 4 onwards. Based near Waterloo/Southwark, join a fast-growing AJ100 practice with strong project wins and clear progression paths.

You’ll lead drawing packages, detailing and coordination with consultants and contractors on medium- to large-scale residential and mixed-use schemes. Hybrid working is provided with one day a week on site.

Job description

Konker Group is hiring for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join a practice in central London.

Based close to Waterloo & Southwark station, this is the chance to join an AJ100 practice who are going through a period of growth.

Due to winning new projects, they are looking to hire three, if not four, to join them.

The studio also had its best-ever year in 2025, so if your current place has slowed down, this is a good time to move.

You’ll take a key role from RIBA Stage 4 onwards, driving projects through technical design, coordination, and site delivery.

As the Senior Architectural Technologist, you’ll be the person people rely on for drawing packages, detailing, and keeping everything aligned with consultants and contractors.

You’ll be confident leading the technical side of medium- to large-scale projects (residential and mixed-use is ideal), and you’ll be comfortable setting the standard for production and coordination.

This isn’t an “architects only” environment. It’s technologist-friendly, with CIAT routes recognised and supported, and senior technologists already in the team.

Salary ranges from £40K to £50k and includes one day a week of hybrid working. The studio provides comprehensive benefits and professional development. There are clear routes for progression as this studio grows into 2026 and beyond.
