Walker & Sloan are looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join a well-established practice in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a keen eye for detail.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will play a key role in the technical delivery of projects, supporting the Project Architect and ensuring all building details are completed to a high standard. The role requires strong Revit and CAD capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Producing detailed architectural drawings and technical specifications.
2. Assisting Project Architects in delivering high-quality designs.
3. Conducting research on materials and construction details to ensure compliance with project requirements.
4. Working independently and within a team to meet deadlines and project objectives.
5. Managing projects independently (for more experienced candidates) with support from Senior Management.

Requirements:

1. Experience in producing detailed technical drawings and specifications.
2. Strong working knowledge of Revit and CAD.
3. Understanding of UK Building Regulations and compliance standards.
4. Ability to research and resolve technical design challenges independently.
