Job Description

A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a talented and qualified Architect with 5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience to join its dynamic team. You will be instrumental in delivering a variety of exciting projects across both the residential and commercial sectors, locally in the Northwest and nationally through a wider client network.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Architect, you will work under senior leadership while taking ownership of multiple projects. You’ll be expected to:

  1. Lead and manage architectural projects across all RIBA work stages
  2. Prepare quotations and tender submissions
  3. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  4. Oversee and delegate tasks to fellow team members
  5. Independently produce detailed architectural drawing packages, specifications, and construction documentation
  6. Chair meetings, record minutes, and drive actions
  7. Administer JCT minor works and RIBA domestic contracts
  8. Conduct site inspections, ensuring high technical quality and compliance
  9. Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign proficiently (SketchUp desirable)
  10. Work within defined budgets and timescales
  11. Hold a full UK driver’s licence
