Job summary

Kier Group invites applications for a Senior Architect to join Kier Design on nationwide projects across the UK. You will drive design delivery, lead on-site teams and ensure quality across multiple schemes, aligned with the RIBA Plan of Work 2013.

The role requires strong REVIT/BIM CAD skills, alongside team leadership and commercial awareness. Salary starts from £40,000 with flexible hours and career progression possibilities.

Qualifications

• A qualified Architect with excellent design capabilities and technical detailing skills.
• Experience in Blue Light, Defense, Health and Education projects.
• Experienced in team management with a hands-on, immersive approach.
• Knowledgeable across all sectors of the RIBA Plan of Work 2013.
• Proficient in Contract Administration, Site Supervision, Project Management and CDMC regulations.
• Highly competent in using REVIT, BIM and relevant CAD software packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead substantial and complex projects, coordinating teams to deliver on programme.
• Take responsibility for commercial performance and resource schedules.
• Participate in detailed design, present concepts and drawings, coordinate information.
• Administer contracts including JCT and NEC, evaluate environmental and regulatory issues.
• Contribute to commercial bids, lead local and national bids, network at external events.
