Job description

Join a globally recognised design studio shaping the future of transport infrastructure and civic architecture. This is a rare opportunity for a senior-level architect to play a pivotal role in growing the practice’s aviation sector presence in the UK, while working closely with theteam overseas.

The studio is known for its ambitious urban and infrastructure-led projects and is actively expanding its London base. With strong design values, a collaborative culture, and a portfolio of high-impact international work, they are now looking for a confident Senior Architect to lead project delivery, support early-stage competition work, and act as the key UK contact for aviation schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and technical development of international aviation and transport projects

• Collaborate closely with theteam overseas, including regular travel (approx. every 4–6 weeks)

• Drive early-stage design, competition entries, and production packages

• Mentor junior staff and help shape the London team’s growth

• Oversee coordination with consultants, clients, and stakeholders

• Lay the foundations for building a specialist aviation team in London over the coming years

Skills & Experience:

• Ideally an ARB-registered Architect with 8+ years of post-qualification experience

• Strong background in large-scale infrastructure, aviation, or transport-led projects

• Confident leading teams, managing deadlines, and coordinating across international offices

• Excellent design sensibility combined with strong technical understanding

• Skilled in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite

• Previous experience in front-end competitions and presentation work is highly valued

• Must be eligible to work in the UK
