Job summary

Lofthouse Group is recruiting a Senior Architect to join a London studio specialising in heritage and conservation. The role offers hybrid working and projects across listed civic, cultural and hospitality sectors.

You will be involved in early design decisions, navigating conservation constraints and liaising with officers and stakeholders to shape landmark buildings. An ambitious, organised professional with UK project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• An architect with roughly five to ten years of post Part 3 experience.
• Strong across the early and middle work stages, RIBA 3 to 5 in particular.
• Experience of UK based projects of scale. Heritage, listed, civic, cultural or hospitality work is a real advantage, though appetite for it counts for more than a CV already full of it.
• Organised, personable and confident in front of clients, consultants and stakeholders, because on buildings like these there is never a shortage of any of the three.
• Revit is useful rather than essential, and training can be provided.
• Ambitious, and interested in progressing rather than parking.

Responsibilities

• Lead design decisions in early design stages for heritage projects.
• Coordinate with conservation officers and stakeholders.
• Develop architecture at RIBA stages 3–5.
