Job summary

Building Design Partnership - BDP in Manchester is seeking a talented Senior Architect to join our award-winning studio. You will work across education and residential projects, taking design concepts from inception to completion while guiding a team and engaging clients from early stages.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to delivering high-quality, coordinated architectural solutions that align with our sustainable design approach.

Qualifications

• ARB-registered architect with 5+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Proven project leadership and design delivery experience.
• Strong portfolio across education/residential sectors.
• Experience briefing, concept design, and delivery through to completed buildings.
• Skilled stakeholder engagement with diverse clients and consultants.
• Good team-working, proactive and collaborative.
• Strong IT skills in BIM environment (Revit preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead design concepts from inception through to completion.
• Manage a range of project stages and be client-facing from early stages.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate with professionals.
• Drive high-quality, coordinated design solutions.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects.
