Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior Architect with a strong Education sector background to join the Bristol practice. You will own design development and coordinate across a varied education portfolio, from feasibility to technical design and construction.

You will lead design reviews, support planning submissions, and collaborate with clients, contractors and school users. Hybrid working and career progression to Associate level are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-qualification experience with a proven track record in education projects.
• Registration as ARB or RIBA is required.
• Experience with education frameworks is highly desirable.
• Strong Revit and BIM workflow knowledge with clear communication of design information.
• Collaborative approach to working with clients and project teams.
• Willingness to contribute to studio culture beyond project work.

Responsibilities

• Lead education projects through feasibility, concept, developed and technical design stages.
• Develop and present design proposals meeting the brief, DfE requirements and programme.
• Produce and coordinate drawings, layouts, schedules, reports and technical information.
• Lead design reviews, workshops and stakeholder engagement with clients, users and consultants.
• Deliver compliant, buildable solutions and resolve design issues early in the process.
• Support studio leadership with resourcing, programme and deliverables; mentor junior staff.
