Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the architectural strategy for global broadcast and network transmission systems
• Design complex live video workflows (contribution/distribution, encoding, routing, monitoring)
• Architect hybrid and cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP for media services
• Provide Tier 3/4 escalation support and mentor engineering teams across architecture principles
• Conduct technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and vendor selections
• Create documentation: technical diagrams, standards, specifications, and executive briefs
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align architecture with strategic goals
• Present at industry events and contribute thought leadership across the media technology landscape

Skills / Must Have:

• 10+ years in a senior broadcast/media technology role with architectural responsibility
• Expert knowledge in IP-based media workflows, transmission, encoding/decoding, and routing
• Strong command of multicast, QoS, and standard routing protocols (OSPF/BGP)
• Demonstrated ability to design resilient, scalable, and secure broadcast networks
• Hands-on experience with vendor platforms such as Net Insight, Cisco, Arista, Appear, MediaKind, etc.
• Proven track record in solution architecture and high-level system design
• Exceptional communication skills to translate technical architecture to senior business stakeholders
• Comfortable working across cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and integrating cloud media services
• Willingness to travel internationally to support projects and attend events
