Job description

Using skills in airport planning, intelligent engineering, and low-carbon modular design, we provide cost-effective, energy-saving solutions across various aviation projects - from small compliance works to complex airside building schemes - delivering on time, on budget, and with full transparency.

Our Architecture team is seeking an experienced Aviation Architect to lead multi-disciplinary aviation projects and oversee a small team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional design and project outcomes.

This position will require occasional onsite presence at both Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Responsibilities
  • Design and specify all aspects of Architecture per current guidelines, standards, regulations and project deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development and mentoring of our Early Careers population and the continuous improvement of departmental capabilities.
  • Manage Architectural involvement in multi-disciplinary projects, including time, cost, quality and client relationship management and delivery.
  • Champion quality and compliance controls within local teams and projects.
Requirements
  • You will be a Registered Architect (RIBA/ARB).
  • Experience of delivering projects in the aviation sector.
  • Considerable design, technical detailing, and specification writing experience.
  • Ability to organise a team to develop designs from RIBA 0 through 7.
  • High level of proficiency in the use of Autodesk Revit 3D software.
  • Ability to produce NBS Chorus Specifications.
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations.
