Job Description

Cowen+Partners is looking to recruit a Senior Architect / Associate level Architect to join our award-winning, multi-home and mixed-use, project team. We specialise in design quality, efficient and viable design, working with multi-disciplinary teams in a highly organised BIM environment.

The successful candidate would need to be able to present ideas, think rationally, and engage with clients and contractors. Collaboration is key to our success and so the ability to work productively as part of a team and independently is essential. Candidates should be highly motivated, with excellent communication and organisational skills in addition to excellent design focus, an eye for detail and a desire to develop their role within the practice.

The right candidate will have the following combination of skills and experience:

·Experience working on multi-unit high-rise, residential projects, ideally in London, is essential

·Experience of working at Stages 4 and 5 is required

·Excellent knowledge of building standards

·Excellent knowledge of construction detailing

·Excellent Revit skills

·Experienced in leading teams and assisting in coordinating complex workflows

·Ability to problem solve and co-ordinate complex building solutions with external consultants

·Be a strong communicator with solid experience of interfacing directly with clients and contractors.

The initial contract would be fixed term, starting in July 2025 and ending in March 2026, with the potential to become permanent should workload and skillset alignment allow.
