Job Opportunity: Senior Architect and Assistant

Due to significant commissions, Kyle Smart Associates, a chartered and award-winning Architectural Practice dedicated to successful project design and delivery, is seeking a Senior Architect with long-term Directorship ambitions, and a Part 2 Assistant to support its medium-sized, ambitious team in Bedfordshire. Our focus areas include sustainable social housing, Older Persons Housing, Community infrastructure, Supported living projects, and special needs developments. Our projects are consistently challenging.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals with a flair for design, possessing the skills and motivation to work independently or within a small team on multiple projects of varying sizes.

Requirements

1. Either ARB registered with experience across all RIBA work stages or recently graduated assistants and architects with enthusiasm.
2. Strong design and detailing skills.
3. Ability to multitask, with strong visualization skills and an eye for presentation. Experience with UK regulatory frameworks, including building regulations and CDM, is preferred.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Proficiency in Vectorworks, Twinmotion, and BIM is preferred, but training will be provided.
6. A valid driving license is essential, as our studio is in the countryside, but projects are located across the Home Counties and into London.
