Qualifications

  • ARB-registered Architect with substantial post-Part 3 experience.
  • Strong eye for design, detail, and spatial awareness.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK planning procedures and Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site assessments and prepare feasibility studies.

Location: Slough

Salary: £42-48,000

A leading architectural practice specialising exclusively in the care and supported living sector is looking for a Senior Architect to join their dedicated team in Slough, Berkshire. Daily Duties

  • Develop design briefs in collaboration with clients
  • Conduct site assessments and prepare feasibility studies
  • Produce detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders
  • Submit and manage planning applications and related documentation
  • Prepare tender documentation and attend contractor interviews
  • Conduct site visits and monitor project progress through to completion
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and project resources
  • Mentor and guide junior team members
  • Contribute to design innovation and sustainability goals

Ideal Candidate

  • ARB-registered Architect with substantial post-Part 3 experience
  • Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign/Photoshop
  • Strong eye for design, detail, and spatial awareness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident presenting to clients and managing expectations
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple projects concurrently
  • In-depth knowledge of UK planning procedures and Building Regulations
  • Passionate about sustainability, people-centred design, and social impact
  • Holds a valid UK driving licence
  • Able to lead small teams and work collaboratively across disciplines
