Senior Architect Job in Chalk Farm, London

A Senior Architect job has just become available with a high-end developer in London. Our client is an established property developer working across high-end residential units and apartments in London's most prime locations. Each project is crafted by the team and undergoes meticulous design, development, and construction.

Bringing together architecture, interior design, project management, and construction under one roof, they take full accountability for every aspect of their work. With a team of 30 professionals, including Architects, Design Managers, Site and Construction Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and a wider construction team, they are committed to raising the standards of new home construction through exceptional design and delivery.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a major regeneration scheme in Central London, transforming an urban site into a dynamic mixed-use development. The project includes a blend of luxury and affordable residential units, retail spaces, and leisure facilities, creating a high-quality living environment in one of the city's most vibrant areas.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical design and coordination of a complex mixed-use regeneration project
  • Develop and manage detailed drawing packages from Stage 4 through Stage 5
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors to resolve design and site challenges
  • Oversee the integration of new-build and refurbishment elements, ensuring seamless coordination
  • Manage façade detailing, material selection, and construction sequencing
  • Coordinate and oversee on-site technical delivery and contractor engagement
  • Maintain excellent communication with the wider project team to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Skills & Experience
  • ARB or CIAT registered with 5+ years' post-qualification experience
  • Proven track record in delivering multi-unit residential projects in the UK
  • Strong experience in complex façade detailing, shell + core, and whole-building coordination
  • Expert knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methodologies
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD is essential (experience in SketchUp and Enscape is advantageous)
  • Experience in CDP coordination and working with specialist subcontractors
  • Strong ability to lead, manage and communicate within a multidisciplinary team
  • A passion for technical detailing and high-quality construction methods.
