Uniquely balanced, well-compensated, and flexible position for an ambitious and autonomous, experienced architect. This associate-level role in a small but well-established London-based practice requires working on high-end residential projects around the UK and across Europe. The position offers flexible working arrangements and considerate working hours. Candidates should have completed finely executed projects in lead design and lead project-management roles, and performed CA and QS roles for JCT contracts.

• Salary: £45,000 to £52,000 depending on experience
• Working hours: 9am-6pm with one-hour lunch break
• ARB registered
• Five years post-Part III practice experience in the UK
• Thorough knowledge of JCT Contracts and administration processes
• Fully conversant with UK Building Regulations, Planning Policies, and the Party Wall Act 1996
• Good project running skills (proven track record) and excellent time management
• Experience in the private residential sector
• Strong technical skills with the ability to deliver projects from detailed design to completion
• Design and presentation skills
• Client management experience
