About the Role

Join a leading employee-owned multidisciplinary consultancy that delivers comprehensive planning and design services across the UK development sector. This established practice combines planning expertise with innovative design solutions, operating from a modern Liverpool city centre location.
As part of their design division, you'll contribute to a diverse portfolio spanning masterplanning, architecture, and landscape architecture projects. The role offers exposure to both private and public sector clients while working within an integrated team structure.

What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Architect with minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Proven track record managing residential and commercial projects across all RIBA stages
  • Strong project leadership capabilities with experience supervising team members
  • Expertise in preparing quotations and managing tender processes
  • Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in contract administration (JCT minor works & RIBA domestic contracts)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Commercial awareness with budget and timeline management skills

Desirable:
  • SketchUp experience
  • Experience chairing meetings and minute-taking
  • Site inspection and technical compliance background

Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
  • Lead architectural projects from conception through completion
  • Prepare comprehensive drawing packages, specifications, and construction documentation
  • Conduct site inspections ensuring quality and technical compliance
  • Manage project budgets and timelines effectively

Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members
  • Delegate tasks and oversee work production
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams

Client Relations:
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Chair project meetings and document actions
  • Represent the practice at client presentations
