Senior Architect

Overview :

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Architect to join an award-winning dynamic architectural practice based in London. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects working across a variety of sectors including residential, hospitality, commercial and masterplanning. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams delivering innovative designs and contributing to the growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the execution of project work in close collaboration with the Associate Directors and assigned staff ensuring design drawings, specifications and calculations are prepared to the highest standard.
• Assemble and process tender documentation to support project delivery.
• Represent the practice in external project meetings building and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Actively contribute to internal design reviews and team meetings offering creative input and technical expertise.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors on technical and commercial matters ensuring project requirements are met on time and within budget.
• Manage project-related information and developments reporting regularly to the Associate Directors and ensuring all relevant stakeholders are informed.
• Ensure compliance with the practice’s Quality Management System and internal processes maintaining the highest standards of architectural practice.

Skills and Experience :

• Proven experience as a Senior Architect in a similar role with a strong portfolio across residential and mixed-use projects.
• Demonstrated experience in managing project teams and delivering projects from concept through to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant building regulations, design standards and industry best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead teams and engage with clients, consultants and suppliers.
• Proficiency in architectural software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp) and design tools.
• A proactive solution-oriented approach to problem-solving with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
