Overview

Senior Architect, London
Permanent Position with AJ100 Practice

Our client is looking for a talented Senior Architect to join their growing team in central London. They have decades of expertise, working in the care and development of some of the best loved buildings in the UK. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the finest buildings, from meticulous heritage and conservation schemes to bold contemporary design. This role offers the opportunity to be involved with projects at all RIBA stages, working collaboratively with a broad consultant team to provide an architectural service that integrates funding and planning advice, consultancy, building surveying, conservation and contemporary architecture.

This is an excellent opportunity and we are keen to talk to architects who have strong technical and conservation skills as well as enthusiasm for high quality work. We are looking for candidates who have the following skills:

Responsibilities
  • Have at least 6 years working as a Project Architect for a UK based practice.
  • Proficiency in using Revit, AutoCAD and NBS software
  • Have excellent technical and detailing skills
  • Project management and contract administration skills and experience
  • Have a strong understanding of the UK Building and Planning regulations
  • Leadership experience managing a small to medium sized team
  • Conservation experience is desirable
  • Experience of taking responsibility for the financial success of projects
  • Be well organised, proactive and enthusiastic approach to work and projects
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Demonstrate good client-facing communication skills
  • Proven experience working on all RIBA stages
