Senior Architect

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £40-50,000

A forward-thinking and well-established design practice is seeking a Senior Architect to join its Cambridge studio. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take a leading role in shaping and delivering high-quality projects across a diverse range of sectors. The role calls for someone who can combine design flair with technical expertise, guiding projects from concept through to completion while ensuring excellence at every stage.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of projects across all RIBA work stages.
  • Oversee and coordinate technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with current Building Regulations, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and team members.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of design quality and studio culture.
The Senior Architect will have
  • ARB-registered Architect with proven post-qualification experience.
  • Defence, healthcare and education experience is advantageous
  • Strong design and technical ability, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in BIM processes and standard industry software (Revit essential).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously.
