Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking Senior Arboriculturists for its national team in the UK. The role offers flexible home-based or hybrid working across Great Britain, with travel to project sites and meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 4 Arboricultural qualification (or equivalent).
• LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector qualification.
• Membership of the Arboricultural Association.
• Professional membership of a relevant industry body desirable.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Good knowledge of arboricultural legislation, planning policy and industry best practice.
• Experience undertaking surveys and reporting in accordance with BS5837:2012.
• Experience producing high-quality technical reports for planning and development projects.
• Experience managing arboricultural projects and client relationships.
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance procedures (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver arboricultural consultancy services across a range of project types.
• Undertake tree surveys in accordance with BS5837:2012 and prepare technical reports for planning applications.
• Perform tree condition and risk-based surveys and provide clear, pragmatic client advice.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and manage workloads while taking ownership of projects.
• Mentor junior team members, undertake technical reviews and contribute to business development.

Level 4 Arboricultural qualification
