Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Arboricultural Consultant to join our National Nature team across multiple UK offices. You will conduct tree surveys, prepare high quality arboricultural reports, and provide expert advice to internal and external teams and clients.

Role includes potential line and project management, with opportunities for professional growth and involvement in a wide range of projects. Hybrid working and ongoing training are available within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of arboricultural principles including BS5837:2012, BS8545:2014 and BS3998:2010.
• Expertise in tree identification, inspection and condition assessment.
• Technicians Certificate in Arboriculture (or equivalent Level 3/4) with substantial experience.

Responsibilities

• Organise, oversee and undertake tree surveys for planning and condition assessment.
• Prepare and review BS 5837:2012 reports, AIA and AMS.
• Prepare and review Tree Condition Reports.
