Overview

We are seeking a dedicated nurse to join Howard ward at Bedford Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of professional development and a commitment to high-quality, holistic care within a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves clinical input, staff supervision, and development, with responsibilities including maintaining high standards of care, managing change sensitively, and contributing to ongoing professional growth.

Main Duties

  • Provide direct clinical care, assessing needs and developing care plans from admission to discharge.
  • Take charge of the ward during development periods and supervise junior staff and students.
  • Work across all ward areas, including admission and discharge, in rotation.
  • Work shifts across a 24-hour schedule.
