Job summary

Cardiff Council is seeking an ICT Senior Applications Support Engineer to lead the maintenance and upgrades of the Housing Repairs Mobile Working and Scheduling Solution. You will ensure reliable operation, support users, and work with suppliers to deliver compliant, secure enhancements.

You will manage test environments and data, align with ICT governance, and drive improvements across council services and ERP projects.

Qualifications

Lead day-to-day maintenance and support of the Housing Repairs Mobile Working and Scheduling Solution.
Lead and coordinate the upgrade of the applications within the Housing Repairs Mobile Working and Scheduling Solution.
Ensure that all applications supported by this role adhere to corporate compliance and security standards.
Manage test environments, data, and configurations to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Provide best practice advice and support for Cardiff Council ICT and Information Governance Processes.
Work with suppliers to ensure Applications are supported to the highest possible level.
Work with customers to identify and implement improvements and enhancements to existing solutions.
Engage with 3rd party projects to provide technical and procedural advice and support.
Build strong working relationships with service areas to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Responsibilities
