Dover Precision Components (DPC) is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the engineering and design content for assigned accounts. You will liaise with customers to resolve technical matters and translate specifications into engineered solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred) with 7 years in engineered product environments.
• Experience with fluid film bearings, dampers and seals in high-speed rotating equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-facing communication skills.
• Proficient with 3D CAD and related software; understands manufacturing impact on form and function.

Responsibilities

• Analyze designs using DPC tools; interpret results and determine optimum solutions for customers.
• Prepare technical information for projects to customer specifications.
• Develop relationships with customers’ technical contacts and respond early to opportunities.
• Interact with clients during projects, pre- and post-contract, for assigned accounts.
• Support advanced analysis techniques (FEA, CFD) as required.
