Job summary

DXC Technology Hampshire is seeking an experienced Applications Architect to join our Digital Applications Transformation team. This site-based role focuses on leading architecture for EDRMS, application hosting, and modernization across multiple platforms.

You will collaborate with teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant solutions, leveraging OpenText, IBM FileNet, and other enterprise tools while contributing to SAFe Agile delivery and governance processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Applications Architect, Solution Architect, or Technical Architect.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture principles.
• Experience with secure application design and lifecycle management.
• Experience delivering architecture artefacts such as HLDs and service designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and oversight for EDRMS (Electronic Document and Records Management Systems).
• Support integrated search capabilities and bespoke components (primarily Java).
• Ensure secure deployment, maintenance and enhancement of document and records management platforms.
• Design secure deployment models for desktop and end-user applications; manage packaging and security requirements.
• Design secure hosting architectures for private cloud environments; support GIS, analysis tools, and database-driven apps.
• Identify opportunities for application modernization and service improvement.
• Apply security-by-design principles through the application lifecycle and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Operate within a SAFe Agile delivery framework and collaborate with stakeholders.
