Your new roleThe Senior Application Support Engineer is a highly experienced and skilled professional responsible for providing expert-level technical support and guidance to ICT teams and users. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of the council's IT infrastructure, systems, and applications. Moreover, you are responsible for providing expert-level technical support to users and resolving complex IT issues that cannot be resolved by 1st or 2nd line support teams. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring that the council's IT infrastructure and systems are operating efficiently and reliably.
Skills you'll need to succeedRequired
- NEC Housing and associated Interfaces knowledge.
- Oracle SQL / MS SQL / MS Access database skills. - Toad and/or Oracle SQL Developer
- Interface testing and troubleshooting skills.
- Windows server skills.
- Data manipulation skills.
- PowerShell or Visual Basic scripting skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Nice to have
- SAP Business Objects reporting knowledge.
- SAP Data Services knowledge.
- CA Workflow Automation knowledge.
- API knowledge.
- Unix Shell Programming.
