Tripadvisor Experiences is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to lead security across our platform in London. You will design advanced security controls, mentor engineers, and ensure secure SDLC practices across multiple teams.

Based in London with a remote-friendly, permanent role, you will collaborate with product and engineering to embed security into new features, manage risk, and stay ahead of evolving threats while driving best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in application security, threat modelling, vulnerability assessments and incident response.
• Strong understanding of encryption, identity management, and API security.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of advanced application security measures including encryption and secure APIs.
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modelling to identify security risks.
• Perform manual security assessments including code reviews.
• Act as SME for security breaches and drive corrective actions.
