Application Engineer - Zuken E3

Location: Staffordshire

Up to £65,000 + benefits

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Application Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer to take ownership of the design, development and integration of Zuken E3 software systems within a globally known, British engineering business.

This role could suit a technical CAD Manager, application engineer, electrical design engineer or technical sales engineer with a good knowledge of Zuken and its application within an engineering design environment.

As the Senior / Principal Applications Engineer within the electrical engineering team, you will lead and deliver the continued development of Zuken E3 ECAD system across the group; liaising directly with Zuken to deal with issues and prioritise development tasks, provide training, mentoring and support to the Global user base, and lead the integration of Zuken with Teamcenter Engineering processes.

Skills/Knowledge: Application Engineer

• Candidates will have good knowledge of the Zuken E3 CAD system and how it can be utilised to suit the needs of the business.
• Proven ability to develop, test and integrate new software / CAD systems as well as train, mentor and support the use of the system within the engineering and IT teams.
• Passion for engineering and developing new systems and technologies within an off-highway / agricultural machinery, automotive, aerospace or consultancy environment.
• Ability to lead small teams of engineers, providing mentoring and training on the E3 software.
• Ideally Degree/HND educated in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Familiar with Teamcenter Engineering and Unigraphics NX.
