Job Title: Senior Application Developer (12 month FTC)

Location: Uxbridge, Hybrid (2 days on-site)

You will be instrumental in designing and developing digital platforms that support the company's long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development of web-based platforms as directed by the Director of Strategic Projects.
2. Perform regular maintenance, updates, and monitor performance to ensure optimal operation.
3. Partner with project managers to identify platform needs and suggest technical solutions.
4. Maintain and improve Azure services and stack.
5. Contribute to technology roadmapping and identify areas for technical improvement.
6. Participate in meetings, workshops, training, and company events.
7. Collaborate with external agencies or contractors as needed.
8. Assist in implementing a DevOps strategy and planning development backlog to meet timelines and service levels.
9. Support the wider team in delivering workstreams as appropriate.

Your Profile:

1. Experienced developer capable of transforming ideas into digital platforms.
2. Creative thinker involved in scoping and designing platform architectures.
3. Strong understanding of hierarchy and layout principles.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
5. Effective communicator and educator on system architecture.
6. Innovative mindset balanced with business needs.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong IT knowledge and understanding of processes.
9. 5+ years’ experience in application development, focusing on B2B/internal systems.
10. Formal qualification in computer science or relevant discipline.
11. Azure certification and experience with DevOps processes and infrastructure.
12. Experience with version control and cloud development environments, especially Azure DevOps.
