Job summary

One Identity is seeking Senior Software Engineers for its OneLogin team in the United Kingdom. You will own API standards, build tooling to auto-generate and validate specifications, and leverage AI to speed API design and documentation while reducing inconsistencies across services.

Qualifications

4+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of production systems.
Strong backend development experience (Ruby, Node.js, or similar).
Solid understanding of REST APIs, service contracts, API design, and software design principles.
Experience designing and maintaining scalable, consistent, and maintainable APIs in production environments.
Experience working across backend services, APIs, and production systems.

Responsibilities

Standardize API development through tooling and automation so the right approach is the default.
Build and maintain systems that auto-generate, validate, and enforce API specifications (contracts, schemas, validation).
Integrate AI into API development workflows to improve specification quality, consistency enforcement, and documentation accuracy.
Reduce bespoke implementations by providing shared patterns, libraries, and templates for API development.
Improve API consistency, discoverability, and usability across services.
Enable faster internal and partner integrations through well-defined, reliable, and documented APIs.
