Job summary

Nourish is a technology partner in health and social care, currently migrating and modernising its Empower API stack. You will contribute to migrating legacy Symfony functionality to Go, while building a new Vue.js front end as part of a Drupal migration.

The role sits in an engineering team of ~80, with Kubernetes deployment and a culture of continuous improvement. The Senior Developer will lead technical direction, mentor teammates, and collaborate across product and design to deliver robust

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial full stack development experience.
• Commercial experience with Go and Vue/React plus familiarity with PHP or Symfony to support legacy transition work.
• Experience with at least three AWS services, Git, Linux CLI, SQL databases, and Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban).
• Unit testing experience and experience in at least one other language.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, build, and improve the Empower API.
• Lead or contribute to migration of legacy Symfony to Go.
• Build the new Vue.js front end as part of the migration from Drupal.
• Work in an Agile team to deliver improvements to our software solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint goals as a team.
• Analyze logs and metrics to improve systems and guide partners.
• Support client-facing colleagues to diagnose issues.
• Mentor team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
