Job summary

You will drive agile delivery, own the roadmap, mentor 5–8 engineers (including contractors), and partner with Product and Design to balance speed with long-term quality in a hybrid Manchester setup.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software teams in a product-led environment.
• 5+ years of hands-on Android development using Kotlin.
• Strong mobile DevOps knowledge including CI/CD and release management.
• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of 5-8 engineers (including contractors).
• Own the roadmap, resourcing, and agile delivery.
• Guide Android decisions, review code, and tackle complex issues.
• Monitor app performance and manage technical incidents.
