Job summary

Randstad Digital UK in Manchester is seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to design and ship high-traffic native mobile features for a global user base.

You will work in a hybrid squad with Product, Design, Data and Backend teams to build robust, scalable Android apps using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern architecture. Expect collaborative design reviews, testing, and continuous delivery practices in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin, Jetpack components, Jetpack Compose, and Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger).
• Deep knowledge of MVVM/Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and Kotlin Coroutines/Flow.
• Hands-on experience with unit/UI testing (JUnit, Mockk, Espresso) and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement A/B tests and product experiments to drive engagement and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
