Job summary

Admiral is seeking a Senior Android Engineer in the United Kingdom to shape and scale our Android platform, owning architecture and delivering high-quality mobile experiences for a large user base.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to build performant, scalable Android applications, mentor engineers, and drive engineering standards while maintaining a strong ownership mindset and practical problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and scaling Android applications in production.
• Strong experience in fast-paced, product-driven teams.
• Mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Android app architecture for performance and maintainability.
• Lead design and delivery of complex features and system improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to define requirements and data flows.
• Drive code quality, reviews, and engineering standards.
