Job summary

Initi8 Recruitment is seeking a Senior Android Engineer in London to own the Android app architecture and drive scalable mobile solutions. You will collaborate with the CTO and founders to shape technical direction and establish best practices across the mobile platform.

You will work in a fast-moving, early-stage environment, mentoring peers and partnering with product, design, data, and external teams to deliver high-quality, high-availability Android applications.

Qualifications

• Experience building modern, scalable Android apps in Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android architecture patterns (MVVM/MVI) and clean architecture.
• Ability to mentor peers and raise engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Own Android app architecture, engineering standards and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with CTO and founders on technical direction.
• Establish best practices, improve quality and contribute to product thinking.
