Senior and Principal Land Safety Consultant - Defence, Bristol

This role involves supporting high-complexity Defence projects across Land and Avionics sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience with Defence Safety Authority Regulations, including DSA02-DLSR.LSSR, and be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level. Responsibilities include providing independent safety advice, supporting sales, assuring project work, leading safety management assignments, and developing safety solutions for land systems.

Key skills required include:

• Knowledge of Def Stan 00-056 and Defence Safety Authority Regulations
• Experience in Safety Management Systems and Safety Critical Systems Engineering
• Ability to develop safety proposals and provide technical assurance
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage project teams
• Excellent communication skills for report writing and presentations

Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, motivation, enthusiasm, and a desire to develop further in their careers. A Chartered Engineer qualification or equivalent is preferred.
