What You'll Do:

  1. Write efficient SQL queries and design domain models to explore complex data relationships.
  2. Build and maintain scalable, robust, and well-tested data products using AWS, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
  3. Mentor colleagues and share knowledge to strengthen team capabilities.
  4. Improve data ingestion, quality, security, and compliance.
  5. Automate deployments, testing, and develop monitoring and alerting tools for live systems.
  6. Create designs for complex projects, iterating or developing new components as needed.
  7. Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Product Managers, and Strategy teams to deliver high-quality data products.
  8. Lead outcomes, develop stakeholder relationships, and communicate insights effectively through data storytelling.
  9. Follow coding standards, best practices, and adopt test-driven and behavior-driven development approaches.
  10. Assist in system architecture, data solution design, and technical decision-making.
  11. Apply domain knowledge to solve business problems with data-led approaches.
  12. Ensure outputs are high-quality, accurate, and support data-driven decisions.

Who You Are:

  1. Passionate about data with experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
  2. Skilled in building scalable, robust data products, proficient in SQL and core engineering principles.
  3. Experienced with relevant coding languages and unit testing.
  4. Familiar with version control, CI pipelines, and service-oriented architecture.
  5. Knowledgeable about relational and non-relational databases, modern data architecture frameworks, and design techniques like data vault and data warehousing.
  6. Highly numerate with the ability to drive business change through data.
  7. Excellent communicator, able to explain complex concepts simply.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, curious to explore and resolve issues logically.
  9. Proactive in continuous learning and career growth.
  10. Deliver solutions that are maintainable and adhere to Agile practices.
  11. Contribute positively to the engineering and analytics community through support and contributions.
